South India and Andaman Birding Tour
A thirteen-day journey from the Western Ghats of Kerala and the Nilgiris to South Andaman, combining mainland endemics with island forest and wetland birds.
About this tour
This route links two very different centres of endemism. The mainland section uses Thattekad as a base, visits the shola and grassland habitats around Munnar and Eravikulam, then continues through Ooty and Doddabetta in the Nilgiris.
A domestic flight connects the group with Port Blair for the Andaman section. Field days around Sippighat, Shoal Bay, Ograbranj, Chidiya Tapu and Mount Harriet focus on island forest, mangrove and wetland species. Wild A Gram describes 280 to 350 species as possible across the full journey, but actual results vary with conditions and migration timing.
Current dates, domestic flights, accommodation, transfers, group size, price and final inclusions are confirmed with the tailored proposal.
