About this tour
This twelve-day journey connects three different birding landscapes in northeast Mexico. El Cielo brings a steep tropical-to-temperate forest transition and specialties such as Tamaulipas Pygmy-Owl and Ornate Hawk-Eagle. The Monterrey section turns to mountain, woodland and desert habitat for regional birds that can include Maroon-fronted Parrot and Worthen’s Sparrow.
