Peter Wairasho / Twinspot Tours & Travel

Peter Wairasho is a Kenya-based professional bird and safari guide and the founder of Twinspot Tours & Travel. Trained and certified through the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association, he leads birding, bird-photography and wildlife trips across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. His field background includes bird ringing with the Nairobi Ringing Group and the Ngulia programme in Tsavo West National Park, participation in raptor road surveys, and work connected with ornithological research and conservation.

Peter is a co-author of Being a Bird and has previously helped facilitate the Fundamentals of Ornithology course. Through Twinspot Tours & Travel, he develops tailor-made itineraries for birders and photographers with different levels of experience, ranging from local forest and Great Rift Valley outings to longer East African safaris. His approach combines target-focused birding, habitat interpretation, ethical field practice and adaptable trip planning.
