About this tour
This six-day private birding journey begins at Kathgodam and links three contrasting areas in Uttarakhand. Forest edges, streams and mixed woodland around Sattal are followed by the quieter countryside near Kaladhungi and the riverine forest and grassland habitats around Corbett.
The field program combines guided walks, wetland visits and two wildlife drives in Corbett. Sattal sessions include Chaanfi, Shyamkhet, the Studio trail and local birding hides. Around Kaladhungi, the route reaches Ranikota and Haripura Reservoir before continuing to Corbett for afternoon and morning safaris.

Itinerary
Day 1
Kathgodam arrival and Sattal birding
Meet at Kathgodam and drive to Sattal. After settling in, spend the afternoon birding around Chaanfi and nearby streamside habitat.
Day 2
Shyamkhet and the Studio trail
Begin around Shyamkhet before exploring forest and edge habitat on the Sattal Studio trail.
Day 3
Sattal hides and transfer to Kaladhungi
Use the morning for birding at a local hide or along the Bend road, then continue to Kaladhungi and finish the day around Ranikota.
Day 4
Haripura Reservoir and Corbett safari
Visit Haripura Reservoir in the morning, travel onward to Corbett and take an afternoon wildlife drive, subject to current permits.
Day 5
Corbett foothill birding
Explore either Haathidagar or Kath ki Naw according to conditions, with an additional visit around the Garjiya temple area.
Day 6
Morning Corbett safari and return
Take a final morning wildlife drive, then return to Kathgodam for the onward journey.
