About this tour
This island-wide journey connects many of Sri Lanka’s most productive birding landscapes, from Kitulgala and Sinharaja rainforest to Udawalawe, Tissamaharama, Bundala, Yala and the cool highlands around Nuwara Eliya.
The route is designed for focused birders seeking the country’s endemic birds alongside South Asian specialties and seasonal migrants. Birdwing Nature Holidays aims for roughly 230–250 species in the main late-October-to-April season, while keeping the walking mostly on flat or gently rolling ground.
Daily activity and park access remain responsive to weather, road conditions and current wildlife movements. Final accommodation, transport, price and departure details are confirmed after enquiry.
