About this tour

This four-day Blue Nature trip heads from a Madrid meeting point to the Aragonese Pyrenees. Deep valleys and cliff faces sit below peaks reaching more than 3,000 meters, while forests, alpine meadows, rivers and glacial cirques give the route a range of mountain settings.

The named birding areas are Ordesa and Monte Perdido, the Hecho and Ansó valleys, and the cliffs at Riglos. They provide the geographic focus for the program rather than a fixed daily sequence. The guide adjusts the visits to weather, access and the activity of the birds while retaining the tour’s Aragón focus.

Bearded Vulture, Egyptian Vulture, Cinereous Vulture and Golden Eagle feature among the birds to seek. Other possibilities include Wallcreeper, Common Rock Thrush, Northern Wheatear, Alpine Accentor, Dunnock, Water Pipit, Rock Bunting, Ortolan Bunting and White-throated Dipper. Black Woodpecker, Citril Finch and Yellowhammer are also named for the tour. These opportunities depend on conditions and the sites visited, so the species list is not a sighting guarantee.

Guiding, transport, accommodation and half board are included across the four-day trip. The maximum group is eight, with per-person prices of €1,500 for one traveler, €900 for two, €700 for three, and €600 for parties of four to eight. Dates are available on request. Additional days or areas can be discussed if your interests call for a different emphasis.
