Falco jugger
The Saker Falcon (Falco cherrug) is a large bird of prey known for its powerful and swift flight. It has a wingspan of around 110-130 cm and a body length of 47-55 cm. This species is characterized by its distinctive dark brown upperparts and pale underparts with fine streaks. Saker Falcons are often found in open grasslands, steppes, and semi-desert areas, where they hunt small mammals, birds, and insects. They are known for their impressive hunting skills and agility in capturing prey in flight. Unfortunately, the Saker Falcon is facing threats from habitat loss, illegal hunting, and pesticide use, leading to a decline in its population. As a result, it is classified as Endangered by the IUCN.
