Spring Birding Tour in Hungary
Follow Hungary’s breeding season for five days through Kiskunsag and Hortobagy, linking wetland, puszta and woodland birds from a Kecskemet base.
About this tour
May brings active song, display and breeding behaviour across Hungary’s wetlands, grasslands and woodland edges. This compact five-day programme uses those conditions to connect Kiskunsag National Park with a full field day in Hortobagy.
The sequence begins around Kecskemet and Tiszaalpar, then works Pusztaszer and the saline lakes, fishponds and open country of northern Kiskunsag. Great Bustard, falcons and eagles share the route with terns, rollers, bee-eaters, warblers, shrikes and wetland birds.
The listed starting price is EUR 750, with accommodation around Kecskemet, field transport, meals and guiding described as included. Confirm flight-aligned transfers, room basis, exact meal coverage, Hortobagy access, group size and current price through BirdWatch.info.
