About this tour
A compact northern Burgos birding break based at Posada Molino del Canto. After an overnight stay and breakfast, travel by 4x4 through the Alto Ebro landscape, selecting the best mix of canyons, plateaux, woodland, pasture and reservoir birding for the season.
Possible birds include Griffon and Egyptian vultures, Short-toed Snake-Eagle, Golden Eagle, Alpine Swift, shrikes, finches, buntings, larks, woodland birds and waterbirds. The route concludes after a picnic.

Arrive at the riverside inn and enjoy a homemade dinner.
After breakfast, travel by 4x4 through limestone outcrops, canyons, plateaux and villages. Depending on season and conditions, the route may also include northern woodland and pasture and the Ebro Reservoir. Finish after a picnic.

No. These are wild-bird experiences, so the guide adapts the route to the season, conditions and current bird activity.
Do I need to bring binoculars?
Identification guides, binoculars and a telescope are available, though guests may prefer their own familiar optics.

Yes. Weather, access and bird activity may require a different route while preserving the character of the programme.
