The morning normally starts at Dee Why Lagoon, where ducks, herons, egrets, cormorants, ibis, spoonbills and seasonal shorebirds can be active around the coastal lagoon. From there, the tour moves to Warriewood Wetlands for freshwater wetland birds and then to Irrawong Reserve for bush birds such as honeyeaters, fairywrens, finches, robins, lorikeets and other woodland species.
