About this tour
This spring route is built around the start of migration in Tunisia, with a broad habitat mix from southern desert and oases to saltworks, mudflats, wetlands, olive groves and cork oak forest.
The itinerary is designed for birders who want North African specialties such as Moussier's Redstart, Barbary Partridge, Levaillant's Woodpecker, Maghreb Magpie, Pharaoh Eagle-Owl and desert larks, while still allowing time for waterbirds and migrant activity.
Photography opportunities are good, and daily field timing can be adjusted around light, weather, recent sightings and the group's target priorities.

Yes. Mohamed organizes Tunisia birding trips from one day to multi-day routes according to target species, season and group interests.
Are spotting scopes required?
Guests should bring binoculars. Spotting scopes can be provided where useful for wetlands, raptor watching and open-country birding.
